When a breeding result does not match

First compare the exact parent forms, their sexes and the data snapshot. A different name, sex branch or mechanism can make two apparently similar inputs different tasks. If a pair is disputed here, the site withholds it.

Match identities, not just names. #12 Gumoss and #12 · variant · flower form Gumoss both use the English name Gumoss but have separate stable IDs. Check the dex/form label. A variant is a separate selectable record.
Write down each parent’s sex. These imported branches differ:
- #79 Katress + #78 Wixen → #79 · variant Katress Ignis. Katress: female; Wixen: male. Check this pair
- #79 Katress + #78 Wixen → #78 · variant Wixen Noct. Katress: male; Wixen: female. Check this pair
Do not drop the sex conditions when sharing a pair.
Compare snapshots. This site uses PalCalc v28 at a fixed revision; the reference is Steam PC v1.0.5, not a claim about your current patch. Work/element facts use a separate Atlas build. An update date on another page does not establish matching recipe data.
Check the mechanism. Only ordinary, non-mutated offspring are queried here. Mutation probabilities, IVs and passive inheritance are outside this engine. A row specifies the offspring species, not every egg or inherited trait.
Respect withheld results. #113 Warsect + #107 Digtoise; #94 Relaxaurus + #42 Sparkit are quarantined. They do not supply route edges. No imported row is not proof that a pair is impossible.

What to record for a useful game check

Platform, exact version, both parent IDs/forms and sexes, egg type, offspring result, mods/settings, test date and screenshot/video location. Keep raw media private until you explicitly choose to publish it. This site does not upload or collect these records.
