Data and methodology

Breeding scope

300 catalog profiles, 288 supported ordinary-breeding entries (85 variants), 11 unsupported synthetic-dex records and 1 missing recipe target. The 41615 imported rows come only from PalCalc v28, commit 8566b9addf72e62bc424c59293afd97eacb038ec. Source snapshot: 18 September 2026. Reference: Steam PC v1.0.5; no promise for every platform or latest patch.

44,851 original rows: 41,615 imported, 3,234 excluded for unsupported parents, 2 quarantined. The two quarantined pairs are Relaxaurus + Sparkit and Warsect + Digtoise. All row dispositions are retained locally. The 234 vs 231 Anubis count discrepancy with an earlier external comparison remains unresolved.

How to read the tables

A recipe row preserves the two parents, their sex constraints and the offspring. A unique unordered parent pair counts those species only; two sex branches remain separate rows. “Either orientation” means one male and one female, not same-sex breeding. A self-pair still needs two individual parents.

Profile parent relationships are grouped alphabetically by offspring, generated from that same recipe table. No rank formula, guessed pair or supplemental recipe table is merged. Filtering direct target dependency does not establish a full acquisition route or easy parents.

Work and elements: a separate source

Atlas commit feb0ca61c5e578617e19e4de799cdc6023a42d92, build 25247047, generated 15 September 2026. 289 records match catalog entries by case-insensitive stable ID, then exact English name and dex. 11 entries lack supplemental records. Fields come from actual published JSON, not a manifest example.

The inspected extractor reads ElementType1/2 (or Element1/2), strips enum prefixes and emits Normal if both are absent. A sole Normal value cannot distinguish an explicit Neutral field from that fallback: 31 such entries retain the source value but display as unconfirmed and do not enter confirmed element filters. Six mixed-element entries include Normal alongside another element; that list cannot be produced by the fallback, so Neutral is retained for those entries. This confirms the source path, not in-game testing.

WorkSuitability_* fields emit only positive integer base levels. All 12 work types actually present are shown. Omitted keys mean unreported here, not an inferred zero. For the 288 shared ordinary entries, the published positive levels agree with PalCalc’s explicit work field mapping. This cross-check is not an independent in-game test. Astralym has Atlas work facts but no PalCalc recipe coverage.

Base levels do not include concentration, passive, book, equipment or patch-specific efficiency effects. Food and nocturnal fields are not presented: they are outside this comparison and their default-value behavior has not been separately audited. No scores or productivity estimates are invented.

Routes and verification

Both parents are required for each route step. The search caps 3 generations, 5 returned plans, 2 intermediate plans per species, candidate count and time. Conditional plans name missing resources. Counts, sexes and offspring sexes must still be checked in game. No global optimum or exhaustive result is promised.

Automated checks verify import, indices, static content and bounded-route consistency. Existing source-backed examples provide limited external cross-checks. Game-internal verification remains pending; private records and media are not deployed.

Updating without silently changing facts

Sources and field semantics checked 4 October 2026. Builds do not advance that date. Updates require explicitly selecting a new snapshot, reviewing source hashes and licenses, rerunning conversion and all tests, reviewing held records, then deploying an audited static output. Supplemental fields can update independently without changing recipe edges.

Search publication is restricted to reviewed substantive pages. Unsupported and recipe-missing profiles remain accessible but noindex. Being eligible for indexing does not mean Google has indexed a page.
